MORE THAN A HARNESS
The Kumfy Klimate Dog Harness is a great product to use year-round. Using the harness on its own will reduce strain on your dog's throat during walks. Incorporate the chilled gel pack into the harness to help maintain your dog's body temperature when they start to get warm. Activate the Kumfy Pax gel pack by placing it in your freezer, for at least an hour, then slide it into harness pocket under dogs chest. (Store gel pack in the freezer until next use).

PREVENTION IS KEY
Hyperthermia & Heatstroke
Dogs naturally have a higher body temperature than do people, and because their bodies are designed more for insulation from the cold, they do not cool down as efficiently. A dog that is heating up can only attempt to normalize its body temperature through panting. In a very short period of time an overheated dog can suffer critical damage to not only is brain, but also its heart, liver and nervous system. By the time an owner notices that their dog is exhibiting symptoms of heatstroke, it’s often too late.
DOGS AT HIGH RISK
Older dogs, puppies, breeds with long hair, flat faces/Brachysephalic breeds (Pugs, Boston Terriers, Boxers, Bulldogs, Pekinese, Shih-tzu) dogs with heart disease, cardiac or chronic condition, and healthy dogs left outdoors in hot or humid conditions
Assists the harness by keeping the gel bag properly placed.
